Jewellery club, jewellery club, how to describe jewellery club?
It’s not a membership, nor a taught session. Consider it your workshop for an evening, with all of the equipment that you might need to complete an idea or project that you have planned. It comes with a built-in assistant/guide/professional jeweller (me!) to answer all of your questions, help discover the best methods to craft your piece, and generally make the most of your time in the space.
These sessions will run from 6:30-9:00pm on the dates listed below. They will take place 1-2 times a month in the jewellery space at The Colour Factory in Winchester. All of the equipment is available for you to use; materials won’t be included. If you need guidance on what to purchase prior to jewellery club, please get in touch at least two weeks in advance of the session.
These pay-as-you-go sessions cost £30 each per person; you may book one at a time, or a few at once. Payments are to be made no later than two weeks before the session. Your payment secures your space.
Please let me know in advance of the session what piece/project/idea that you’re intending to work on so that I can make sure the relevant equipment is ready when you arrive.
This is a session for folks who have visited one or more workshops and wish to build on their skills; it isn’t a session for absolute beginners/folks with no experience. May I direct you to a workshop, or something bespoke first? As it’s not a taught session, you will be expected to have attended workshops before so that you are able to work on your projects independently, although I will be present to answer any questions and help develop any ideas.
A minimum number of people is required in order for this session to go ahead. If the session is not filled, it will be postponed and your payment will be transferred to the next session. If you cancel up to a week before the session takes place, your payment can be transferred to a consecutive session. If you cancel within a week or don’t show up and you intend to visit a following session, you will need to arrange to make a new payment before doing so. There won’t be any refunds.
